The owner, Ms Nguyen Kim Huong – a Bachelor in Hotel Business Administration with lots of experience in Hotels and Restaurants/Hospitality Trade said: “I want to bring the fresh and unique style of western bars to Ha Noi, so that customers can have a new and interesting choice”.

Occupying one-storey of 50m2, plus another floor of 25m2 and a roof garden, the Derry’s Irish Pub located on the shores of Truc Bach Lake is relatively a new-comer to the pub arena. But the owners are determined to create customers’ satisfaction at all costs.

Derry’s Irish Pub’s concepts are to create a “fushion” of Irish basic food plus atmosphere and down to earth “mouth-watering” menu that can create excitement for their customers. Contemporary music both Irish and others, fill the air with light entertaining “oldies” and “slow rock” not forgetting those of the “years gone by” Since it’s inception in September 2008, Derry’s Irish Pub has already created a certain “niche” within their customers, so much so that they (customers) already know what to get or expect when they patronize the place.

On the ground floor is the bar with stools for those who wish to drink by the bar and tables/chairs for those who wish to sit proper and or have a meal. The 2nd floor is a pleasantly designed private room which can accommodate up to 20 guests comfortably for private functions and happenings. Not forgetting there is a roof garden on the 4th floor for BBQ parties such as their famous “suckling pig” affairs.

Therefore, as one can expect, these vareity and concepts are not 100% Irish, but suitable for guests’ anticipations and expectations. The designing and creation of Derry’s Irish Pub is a “dream of all dreams” come true for the owners, who has all the Food & Beverage plus Hospitality experiences and within the both of them, they have some 30years gained from the business. Therefore, their anticipation for their guests’ expectations are second to none. It’s “service and quality” which they insist on their service and kitchen staff and with these concepts in mind, the owners strive to make it a real place to wine, dine and unwind by the shores of Truc Bach Lake.
